About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and dependable Member Services Associate to join our front desk team. This role focuses on customer service, member support, and daily facility operations in a fast-paced, community-centered environment. As the first point of contact, you'll help create a positive experience for members by providing assistance, answering questions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to stay calm and helpful under pressure
• Must be able to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service, front desk, or retail experience is a plus
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems or membership software
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends
• Interest in health, fitness, or community programs

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, providing excellent customer service at all times
• Assist with membership sign-ups, account updates, and program registrations
• Answer phones, respond to questions, and provide accurate information
• Conduct facility tours for prospective members
• Handle cash transactions and balance register/drawer
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility
• Monitor building activity and follow all safety and emergency procedures
• Support opening and closing duties as scheduled
• Work collaboratively with staff and assist with onboarding new team members
