About The Position

Join Jolt Credit Union as a Part-Time Member Service Representative. This role is ideal for individuals who are energized by helping others and thrive in a supportive, community-focused environment. As the face of Jolt, you will greet members, assist with financial transactions, and recommend banking and lending options to enhance their financial well-being. The position requires working 24-28 hours per week, including some Saturdays. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people and providing excellent service in a dynamic setting.

Requirements

Prior experience in customer service is a must
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
High attention to detail and a knack for accuracy
Confidence, patience, and a positive attitude
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet during shifts

Responsibilities

Deliver service to both members and coworkers that is in alignment with our Service Promise: "Giving it All We've Got, Every Day and Everywhere"
Credit union product promotion and recommendations
Verifying cash in drawer at beginning and end of day
Processing deposits, loan payments, VISA payments, and other types of payments
Disbursing account withdrawals and cashing checks
Process other teller transactions relative to accounts, credit cards, loans, etc.
Issuing Cashier's checks
Cashing U.S. Savings Bonds
Responding to member inquiries (interest rates, account balances, etc.)
Assisting with balancing branch, vault, ATM, etc.
Protecting the credit union from fraud
