Member Service Representative

About The Position

As a Member Service Representative, you will be interacting with our members on a day-to-day basis. Opening and closing member accounts, starting loan applications, and processing their transactions. You will provide excellent customer service through the lobby and drive thru. At the end of each day, you will balance your drawer and verify totals. The goal of this position is to ensure our members are promptly and professionally served. This position offers a staring hourly rate of $18/hr.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED certificate
  • 1 year of banking experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Cash handling
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to assist others
  • Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to maintain an effective and efficient workflow

  • Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment

Responsibilities

  • Handle deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers.
  • Answer questions and provide account support.
  • Set up new accounts and update member information.
  • Refer members to loans, credit cards, and other services.
  • Help members with problems or escalate when needed.
  • Balance cash drawers and follow security procedures.
  • Assist with online banking, mobile apps, and card issues.
