About The Position

Join Our Team as a Part-Time Member Service Representative at the Washington Avenue Branch in Saginaw, MI. This role involves working 24-28 hours per week, including some Saturdays. As the face of Jolt Credit Union, you will greet members, assist with financial transactions, and recommend products to enhance their financial well-being. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy connecting with people and providing excellent service in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

Prior experience in customer service is a must
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
High attention to detail and a knack for accuracy
Confidence, patience, and a positive attitude
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet during shifts
A passion for helping others and being part of a team

Responsibilities

Deliver service to both members and coworkers that is in alignment with our Service Promise: "Giving it All We've Got, Every Day and Everywhere"
Credit union product promotion and recommendations
Verifying cash in drawer at beginning and end of day
Processing deposits, loan payments, VISA payments, and other types of payments
Disbursing account withdrawals and cashing checks
Process other teller transactions relative to accounts, credit cards, loans, etc.
Issuing Cashier's checks
Cashing U.S. Savings Bonds
Responding to member inquiries (interest rates, account balances, etc.)
Assisting with balancing branch, vault, ATM, etc.
Protecting the credit union from fraud
