About The Position

Looking to build a career in financial services, or member service? Kohler Credit Union is hiring a Full-Time Teller/Member Service Representative at our Taylor Drive Branch in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, offering $19.15-$21.40 per hour. No previous banking experience is required. If you enjoy helping people, solving problems, and providing excellent service, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed. As a Teller/Member Service Representative, you'll serve as a trusted resource for our members by handling everyday financial transactions, answering questions, and identifying opportunities to recommend products and services based on their needs. You'll work closely with your teammates to provide an exceptional member experience while maintaining accuracy, security, and compliance.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong communication, math, and computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
  • The ability to learn new systems and manage multiple priorities
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service or cash handling experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, personalized service while building strong relationships with members.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and other financial transactions accurately.
  • Balance cash drawers, and follow established cash handling, security, and compliance procedures.
  • Answer member questions, assist with account and financial service needs, and identify opportunities to recommend products and services that align with their goals.
  • Communicate with members and coworkers in person, by phone, and through email.
  • Participate in ongoing training to expand your knowledge of banking, financial products, and credit union operations.
