The Member Service Representative III role involves interviewing loan applicants, processing applications, gathering background information, and reviewing credit history. This position acts as a liaison between members and Advancial, ensuring clear communication and a positive service experience. Additionally, the role provides account information, opens new accounts, and supports members with their daily credit union needs.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two–year College or technical school; or six months related experience. Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be service‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to manage a variety of tasks effectively

Responsibilities

  • Cross‑sell loan, deposit, and electronic banking products to meet member needs.
  • Achieve monthly goals for ancillary loan product penetration and sales performance.
  • Interview applicants, collect required information, and ensure loan documents meet policy standards.
  • Guide members by recommending products and services that best fit their financial goals.
  • Process loan approvals, secure collateral liens, and close loans accurately.
  • Open new accounts—including checking, savings, certificates, IRAs, and money markets—and verify eligibility.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of lending procedures, credit union guidelines, and loan product features.
  • Perform teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account maintenance.
  • Resolve member inquiries by providing account information, researching issues, and delivering timely solutions.
  • Support branch operations by assisting with audits, night drop processing, supply monitoring, and opening/closing duties.
