Assists members and potential members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments; explains services, responds to problems, and directs members to the appropriate people. Assumes responsibility for the efficient, effective, and accurate performance of teller functions by representing the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner. Answers questions and solves problems for members by listening to problems, collecting data, securing answers, and reporting results to the inquiring party. Resolves member bookkeeping and checking account problems. Orders checks for members' accounts. Completes appropriate forms for member's needs. Acts as liaison between members and various organizations and departments. Keeps supervisor informed of area activities of any significant problems or concerns. Maintains member account information on computer system and ensures privacy of member account information. Performs file maintenance and account changes as needed. Performs other duties as assigned, including but not limited to drive-up service and night drop functions as assigned. Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained. Performs related clerical duties and attends meetings as required.
