As a Concessions/Member Service Supervisor at the Y, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing member satisfaction and retention through exceptional service and engaging practices. In this vibrant position, you'll leverage your extensive knowledge of membership options and center specifics to provide a fantastic experience for every visitor. From food preparation to selling delicious snacks and drinks, you’ll be the heartbeat of our concession stand, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include operating the cash register and maintaining cleanliness to create a welcoming environment. With your passion for service and community, you'll be instrumental in making every member feel at home and actively involved in our amazing programs!

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma.
• Friendly disposition and knowledge of excellent customer service practices.
• Ability to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective conflict resolution skills.
• Accurate in cash handling.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in decision making.
• Ability to work a variety of hours including weekends and evenings.
• Must obtain food handler license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with service desk operations, such as scanning membership cards.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently.
• Replenish items at serving stations.
• Manage inventory control by assessing stock levels.
• Prep product orders when necessary.
