The Member Service Associate (MSA) is responsible for receiving and paying out money, and keeping records of financial transactions. This role involves welcoming visitors, processing deposits and withdrawals, verifying signatures and balances, and entering transactions into the computer system. The MSA also places holds on accounts for uncollected funds, manages cash drawers, and promotes and sells credit union products and services. Additionally, they research and resolve member inquiries, handle various financial transactions like money orders and gift cards, and assist other departments as needed. The use of CDM/Recyclers is also part of the role.
