About The Position

We are seeking a confident, energetic, positive, and enthusiastic individual who loves people and sales with equal enthusiasm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting our team and community, with an extreme passion for customer service and making people smile every day. This is a long-term, not seasonal, role for someone friendly and willing to learn, who enjoys building relationships with new and existing teammates and members. The Member Sales & Service Specialist (MSS) assists the Studio Manager with engaging conversations with prospects, booking them into intro classes, and converting them into members. MSSs know our members and can anticipate their needs, and are experts in membership sales, retail sales, and private training sales. They must be comfortable chatting and building connections on the phone with prospects. This is a sales position requiring the ability to sell Pilates to anyone who reaches out. While Pilates and/or fitness knowledge is helpful, it is not required. This role is part of the studio's hype squad in a fast-growing company where things change quickly, ensuring you will never be bored and will have ample opportunity to grow, develop, and be challenged. Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, via email, and text message.
  • Must be comfortable with public speaking in groups of up to 12 people.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve membership, retail, and service objectives.
  • Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system.
  • Punctual, reliable and professional.
  • Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environment.
  • Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday.
  • Hearing sufficient to understand conversations, both in person and on the telephone.
  • Reliable means of transportation to studio and occasional offsite events.

  • Pilates and/or fitness knowledge or background.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer emails, text messages and phone calls, always answering the phone, returning texts, calls and emails the same day, and escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Execute sales protocols for prospect follow-up, membership sales, or intro class booking.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients of the studio, be it in person, over the phone, via text messaging or email.
  • Conduct tours of the facility while actively engaging with individuals.
  • Meet or exceed sales call goals per shift.
  • Meet or exceed assigned KPI’s.
  • Achieve personal and studio-level sales goals.
  • Help to maintain a clean and orderly studio.
  • Participate in special events as needed to promote the studio.
  • Smile a ridiculous amount.
  • Other duties as assigned.
