About The Position

Honey Homes is a membership service for homeowners that takes care of the everyday to-do's, ongoing maintenance, and unexpected repairs that come with owning a home. Members are paired with a dedicated handyperson and use a simple app to coordinate. We're on a mission to replace the hassle of homeownership with the joy of comfortable living. You’ll spend your days inside beautiful homes, helping existing Honey Homes members get the most out of one of their Honey Homes Membership. Every renewal begins with an in-home Renewal Consultation, one of the most important moments in the member journey. This isn’t a sales call. It’s an opportunity to build trust, assess the health of the home, celebrate everything that’s been accomplished, and help homeowners plan what’s next. Your job is to leave every member feeling confident that Honey Homes is the right long-term partner for their home.

Requirements

  • You’re naturally consultative. You enjoy helping people make thoughtful decisions. You ask great questions, listen carefully, explain complex topics simply, and create confidence without pressure.
  • You build trust quickly. You’re comfortable walking into someone’s home and making them feel at ease within minutes. Homeowners naturally see you as someone they can rely on.
  • You know your way around a home. You don’t need to be a licensed contractor, but you understand the basics of home maintenance and enjoy helping homeowners prioritize projects. You’re curious, practical, and eager to keep learning.
  • You’re highly organized. Great recommendations are only valuable if they’re documented well. You capture detailed notes, thoughtful scopes of work, photos, and next steps that allow the rest of the organization to execute seamlessly.
  • You notice what others miss. You have an eye for detail and enjoy identifying opportunities before they become expensive problems. Whether it’s deferred maintenance, safety concerns, or future improvements, you’re always thinking a few steps ahead.
  • You’re energized by startups. You enjoy building as much as operating. You’ll follow a proven playbook, but you’ll also help improve it. You’re excited by ambiguity and constantly looking for better ways to work.
  • You act like an owner. You care deeply about delivering an exceptional member experience. You take responsibility for the outcome—not just the appointment—and consistently look for ways to improve both the member experience and the business.
  • You'll need a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to drive throughout the region.

Responsibilities

  • Every member approaching renewal receives an in-home Renewal Consultation.
  • Over the course of about 90 minutes, you’ll walk the home with the member, complete a comprehensive home health assessment, identify maintenance opportunities, answer questions, and build a thoughtful plan for the year ahead.
  • You’ll review the value they’ve received, recommend future projects, and help them choose the membership that best fits their needs.
  • You’ll also capture photos, document recommendations, build scopes of work, and coordinate with our operations team so every follow-up visit is set up for success.
  • Every home is different. Every conversation is different. The common thread is helping homeowners feel informed, cared for, and excited about what’s next.
