Our Colonie, NY financial center is hiring! Business Hours: Monday & Tuesday 9am – 4:30pm, Wednesday 8am to 4:30pm, Thursday & Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm. Employees are scheduled 36-40 hours per week with rotating Saturdays off. Actual shift may vary based on opening/closing/balancing needs. Training for this position will be at our Latham office. Starting pay, $22-24/hr based on experience.

Requirements

• High school graduate/equivalent or higher
• Minimum of one year sales/customer service experience
• Ability to meet sales goals
• Strong attention to detail
• Communicate effectively
• Computer proficiency within Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must be able to obtain and maintain NMLS registration within the required training period
• Achieve and maintain designation as a Notary Public to provide notary services as requested

Nice To Haves

• Prior banking experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver legendary service by warmly welcoming members to the financial center
• Sharing information about Sunmark’s products and services
• Helping members confidently use available credit union technology, including Interactive Teller Machines
• Provide advanced guidance on consumer accounts, including IRAs, trusts, estates, and business accounts
• Research and resolve member questions, concerns, and complaints
• Support management in maintaining Sunmark’s culture while achieving department sales goals
