About The Position

The Member Relationship Officer creates a positive and memorable member experience by building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service. This role assists members with consumer lending, new accounts, digital banking services, account maintenance, transaction processing, and issue resolution. Through meaningful conversations, the Member Relationship Officer identifies member needs, provides financial education, and recommends products and services that support members' financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong member relationships by providing personalized service and proactive financial guidance.
  • Identify member needs through consultative conversations and recommend appropriate products, services, and solutions.
  • Assist members with opening, maintaining, and servicing deposit accounts and related services.
  • Interview loan applicants, gather and analyze information, and provide appropriate recommendations to support lending decisions.
  • Process member transactions and account maintenance accurately, efficiently, and confidentially.
  • Resolve member concerns and inquiries with professionalism and a focus on delivering positive outcomes.
  • Educate members on ancillary lending products, insurance options, and other financial solutions that support their needs.
  • Achieve individual and team sales, service, and performance goals.
  • Refer members to specialized partners, including Mortgage Lending, Financial Planning, Investment Services, Treasury Management, and other financial solutions when appropriate.
  • Represent the organization professionally within the community and promote a positive member experience.
