About The Position

We are seeking a customer-focused Member Relationship Officer to help create exceptional member experiences while building long-term relationships. This role combines financial services, consumer lending, account management, customer service, and sales. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping individuals achieve their financial goals while identifying solutions that meet their needs.

Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of sales and customer service experience.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Experience identifying needs and recommending products or solutions.
Excellent verbal, written, and active listening skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

Previous banking, credit union, or financial services experience.
Consumer lending experience.
Experience opening and maintaining deposit accounts.
Financial counseling or related certifications.
Bilingual language skills.

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with members through meaningful conversations and exceptional service.
Assist members with consumer lending needs, including gathering information and supporting loan decision processes.
Open, maintain, and service deposit accounts including checking, savings, CDs, and IRAs.
Process member transactions accurately and efficiently.
Resolve account issues and provide effective problem resolution.
Educate members on financial products, lending options, and value-added services.
Identify opportunities to recommend products and services that align with member needs.
Collaborate with internal partners and specialists to provide comprehensive financial solutions.
Meet individual and team performance goals.
Represent the organization professionally within the community.
