About The Position
The City of Beaumont is seeking individuals to serve on the Beaumont Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee. This committee provides advice to Council on policy, facilities, and programming related to recreation, sports, leisure, heritage, community events, and volunteerism. There are two (2) vacancies available, with terms ending on December 31, 2025. Members are appointed for a two-year term and can serve a maximum of two consecutive terms. Members must be residents of Beaumont.
Requirements
- Must be a resident of Beaumont.
- Demonstrate experience and/or education in recreation, sports, leisure, heritage, community events and/or volunteerism.
- Able to convey ideas clearly and listen actively.
- Work effectively within a team.
- Plan and prioritize to ensure you can dedicate enough time to make a meaningful impact.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- A willingness to think strategically for the benefit of the community.

- Provide advice to Council on policy, facilities, and programming related to recreation, sports, leisure, heritage, community events and volunteerism.
