About The Position
Hardware engineering is more complex than ever, yet the tools to manage design changes have not kept pace. We’re building the solution and we need your expertise. This role is ideal for someone who's viscerally bothered by bad software and has the skills to fix it. You'll own the end-to-end experience of our product: from information architecture to the micro-details that help our users stay in the flow. You'll work directly with hardware engineers who've been burned by every tool in the market.
Requirements
- A bias to action
- Exceptional taste for intuitive end user interfaces and focus on solving end user pain points
Nice To Haves
- Ability to ship frontend code yourself
- Previous exposure to systems engineering or hardware development workflows
- Experience designing AI-native interfaces (co-pilot and tab-tab-tab patterns)
Responsibilities
- Design interfaces that make complex data feel intuitive
- Create interaction patterns for AI-assisted workflows (human-in-the-loop review, batch operations, smart suggestions)
- Build and implement our design system in React + Tailwind
- Prototype ideas quickly - we value working software over polished mockups
