About The Position

Armadin is hiring a Member of Technical Staff to build foundational platform systems for enterprise customers. The role focuses on identity, access management, integration points, and extensibility so customers can embed Armadin in their existing ecosystems. The position owns core platform services end to end, from architecture and implementation through deployment and production operation. The engineer will ensure the platform scales across organizations, regions, and use cases while maintaining performance, reliability, and simplicity in complex environments with strict security requirements. They will uphold security, compliance readiness, and operational excellence, and partner with product teams, security researchers, and customers to translate ambiguous enterprise requirements into well-designed, shipped infrastructure. Armadin builds autonomous proactive security products, combining security tradecraft with purpose-built security models and agents to discover and remediate risk before organizations are breached. The role is in person at the company's Palo Alto office.

Requirements

At least 5 years of industry experience building and scaling complex, data-heavy production systems.
Deep experience designing and operating end-to-end backend systems, including services, APIs, data pipelines, and underlying infrastructure.
Hands-on experience in at least one of identity and access management, multi-tenancy, enterprise integrations, or platform extensibility.
Strong technical problem-solving skills and comfort handling ambiguous, fast-changing problems with a high degree of ownership.
Ability to work directly with customers and translate business needs into technical deliverables.
Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production; experience developing AI agents is a plus.
Background in security, compliance-sensitive infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS platforms.
Experience as a founder, tech lead, or early-stage startup builder with high ownership and urgency.
Prior experience with Python, TypeScript, React, and/or C++.
