About The Position

Crosby is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to build and scale the systems that power its AI-native law firm platform. The role is responsible for designing and maintaining reliable, scalable infrastructure across compute, storage, and deployment systems. The Infrastructure Engineer works closely with backend, AI, and product engineers to keep systems performant, observable, and easy to operate. The position focuses on reliability and developer velocity by providing infrastructure that helps engineering teams ship quickly and confidently.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, SRE, or backend systems.
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP and modern infrastructure tooling.
Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or Go, and comfort building internal tools.
Experience with containerization and orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of CI/CD systems, monitoring, and observability.
Pragmatism and sound judgment around reliability-versus-speed trade-offs.
An ownership mindset and willingness to take responsibility for systems end-to-end.
Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain cloud infrastructure across compute, storage, and networking.
Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows to enable fast, reliable releases.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability systems to maintain high uptime and performance.
Optimize infrastructure for ML/AI systems, including batch processing, inference workloads, and data pipelines.
Build tooling and systems that make it easier for engineers to build, test, and deploy software.
Partner with engineering teams to ensure infrastructure supports product and system requirements.
