About The Position

First Alliance Credit Union is seeking a Member Lending Advisor to help members turn financial goals into possibilities through lending, education, and meaningful relationships. This is a relationship-driven lending role for someone who enjoys getting to know people, understanding what they're working toward, and finding solutions that truly fit. You'll guide members through the lending process, provide financial education, build lasting relationships, and connect members with products and resources that support their bigger financial picture. This is lending with a purpose. You won't just process transactions or move members through an application, you'll listen to their stories, help them understand their options, and find possibilities that can make a real difference. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships, grow your lending expertise, achieve meaningful goals, and see the impact of your work every day.

Requirements

• 3+ years of member service, financial services, or related experience
• At least 1 year of lending experience
• A proven ability to build relationships and earn trust
• Strong communication and listening skills
• A track record of working toward and achieving goals
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, member-focused environment
• Comfort using technology and learning new systems and tools

Responsibilities

• Work with members to understand their financial needs and identify lending solutions that fit
• Originate consumer loans and work toward individual lending and growth goals
• Guide members through the lending process from conversation to closing
• Provide financial education that helps members make confident, informed decisions
• Build strong member relationships through meaningful conversations and consistent follow-up
• Identify deposit products and additional services that can support a member's financial goals
• Partner with teams across the Credit Union to connect members with the right resources
• Support your branch team and help create an exceptional member experience
