About The Position

The Member Experience & Sales Lead at the Bear Glasgow YMCA Family will champion the YMCA of Delaware brand, driving the membership experience from transactional to transformational across all levels of staff and departments. This role involves driving sales training conversations, focusing on closing membership sales through excellent tours and value-driven conversations, and developing/delivering training on YMCA products and services. The Lead will also develop strategies to motivate staff and achieve sales and retention goals, implement Welcome Center procedures, deliver outstanding tours, track tours, schedule fitness orientations, and onboard new members. Additionally, the role requires representing the YMCA at Community Outreach events, which may include nights and weekends.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years of sales, customer service and/or related experience.
Strong customer service.
Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
