About The Position

Oklahoma's Credit Union (OKCU) is seeking a Member Experience Representative to join their team. This role involves providing outstanding member service, assisting members with credit union products and services, and handling various financial transactions. Requirements

  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to understand and actively assist members in using credit union products and services.
  • Ability to receive checking and savings deposits, verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back and issue receipts.
  • Ability to examine checks deposited and determine proper funds availability based on regulation requirements and complete hold notices.
  • Ability to process savings withdrawals and cash checks, verifying endorsement, receiving proper identification and ensuring validity.
  • Ability to answer basic member inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and member privacy policies.
  • Ability to issue personal money orders and cashier’s checks, and cash out US Savings Bonds.
  • Ability to accept loan payments, verify payment amount and loan status, and issue receipts.
  • Ability to buy and sell currency from the vault as necessary, ensuring that teller drawer cash limits are not exceeded.
  • Ability to maintain and regularly balance cash and other negotiable instruments, and ensure teller station is properly supplied.
  • Ability to refer members to the proper department for issues that cannot be resolved at the teller line.
  • Ability to refer additional credit union products as appropriate.
  • Ability to perform routine support functions as assigned; including verifications, scanning, filing, reports, and returned mail.
  • Ability to ensure confidentiality regarding member transactions and information.
  • Ability to ensure actions are compliant with all credit union policies and procedures.
