About The Position

Administers health insurance benefits for our members and our reps take calls from providers and members regarding claims, benefits, and eligibility. 50-60 incoming calls daily. Need call center background experience to be considered; healthcare is a plus! Fully onsite, shifts are between 7a-7p, 8 hours shift. Shifts are given during training in the first week. PLEASE ENSURE CANDIDATES ARE OPEN TO A SHIFT ANYTIME BETWEEN 7a-7P. They submit a preference for 3 shifts within that time frame. They typically get their first preference, but can't guarantee it. During the first 3 weeks, contractors will only work 30 hours a week during training. During the first week of training the supervisors will discuss with MER what their 1, 2 and 3rd preference will be for a 9-hour shift (include two 15-minute paid breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch). For the full term of the contract, contractors are not able to work remotely. If they are hired on as perm staff, they then would be eligible for a hybrid schedule if they are meeting all attendance, quality and productivity standard.
