About The Position

This position exists to serve our members at the Perdido Key Branch in Pensacola, Florida. This is a frontline position. A Member Experience Representative engages members by onboarding them with Alabama Credit Union by opening new accounts and providing a relationship-building experience; assist members with loan request along with assisting them with their financial transactions, involving giving and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments while providing opportunities for members to utilize additional products and services offered by Alabama Credit Union. Duties include opening accounts, helping our members with their basic financial transactions (such as conducting deposits and withdrawals, posting credit card payments and balance transfers, receiving debit card and check orders, etc.) accurately and efficiently, and providing information about products and services to members in order to serve their financial needs. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service skills
  • Cash handling experience
  • Good computer skills (including Microsoft Office products and web-based applications)
  • Ability to follow lengthy procedures for account opening
  • Ability to describe and sell products and services to members
  • Ability to change focus efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • A desire to help others in your community
  • Interpersonal skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
