The Greater Burlington YMCA is looking for part-time Member Engagement Associates to provide exceptional service, build relationships, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all members and visitors. Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to help members efficiently.
• Reliable, dependable, and flexible in meeting the needs of the facility.
• Basic cash handling skills.

• Ability to navigate the workspace efficiently.
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately to urgent or emergency situations, making quick decisions and taking action in accordance with organizational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet all members and visitors, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
• Assist with new memberships, renewals, and general account management.
• Answer questions about YMCA programs, classes, and facility offerings.
• Guide prospective members and highlight the benefits of joining the Y.
• Process payments, troubleshoot system issues, and manage basic cash handling.
• Provide prompt and helpful phone assistance.
• Ensure the front desk and surrounding areas remain welcoming and tidy.
• Address questions or issues in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned to enhance the member experience.
