About The Position

Elessar Systems Inc. is seeking a strategic advisor to guide the company as it commercializes Q2 Holodeck™, a browser-based, AI/ML-driven scenario-based training platform for UAS and counter-UAS preparedness. The Board of Advisors provides practical guidance, market access, customer credibility, and domain insight as Elessar converts pilots into recurring subscriptions. Advisors help sharpen strategy, open relevant doors, test assumptions, strengthen customer confidence, and navigate defense, homeland security, critical infrastructure, operational training, acquisition, and international markets. This is an advisory role, not a Board of Directors seat. The Board of Advisors has no corporate governance authority. Advisors do not supervise employees, bind the company, or assume fiduciary duties solely by serving in this capacity; management retains decision-making responsibility and execution accountability. The role involves advising the CEO and leadership team on strategy, positioning, market entry, partnerships, and risk; making selective, relevant introductions; supporting customer and revenue efforts; contributing domain and product insight; strengthening partnerships and reputation; and identifying ethical, security, export-control, government-sales, conflict-of-interest, and execution risks. Advisors are expected to participate in quarterly meetings and agreed working sessions, prepare in advance, coordinate external outreach with the CEO or a designated executive, protect confidential information and intellectual property, disclose conflicts, and refrain from public statements or representing Elessar without authorization. Compensation may consist of equity, a retainer, success-based compensation, or a combination, depending on expected contribution and applicable requirements. Compensation and related terms will be set out in a separate written advisory agreement approved by Elessar. The position description is not an employment agreement or director appointment.

Requirements

  • Senior leadership experience in a field directly relevant to Elessar’s customers, markets, technology, acquisition pathways, training mission, or capital strategy.
  • Demonstrated judgment, credibility, and a reputation for ethical conduct.
  • A relevant network and willingness to make selective introductions where there is a clear fit.
  • Ability to provide direct, independent advice while respecting management accountability and Board of Directors authority.
  • Ability to protect confidential, proprietary, customer, security-sensitive, and export-controlled information.
  • No unresolved conflict of interest that would impair objective advice or Elessar’s customer relationships.
  • Strategic judgment to distinguish immediate revenue and mission priorities from premature expansion.
  • Commercial orientation and understanding that the near-term test is whether pilots convert into annual subscriptions and expansion.
  • Clear executive communication with customers, operators, technical teams, investors, and government stakeholders.
  • Technical and operational literacy to assess customer relevance without overstating fielded functionality or making unsupported commitments.
  • Ability to steward relationships carefully, prepare both sides for introductions, challenge assumptions constructively, and provide candid advice.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with UAS, counter-UAS, air defense, force protection, homeland security, critical infrastructure, operational readiness, simulation, or SaaS.
  • Experience selling to, buying for, or delivering within U.S. federal, defense, public-safety, critical-infrastructure, or allied-government markets.
  • Familiarity with government acquisition, contracting pathways, technology adoption, operational pilots, or non-dilutive funding.
  • Experience helping an early-stage company secure first revenue, build a repeatable pipeline, raise capital, or scale recurring revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on market-entry sequence, business model, pricing and packaging, partnerships, capital strategy, and the path from early pilots to recurring revenue.
  • Make selective, well-qualified introductions to relevant decision-makers, operational leaders, acquisition officials, channel partners, prime contractors, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Help leadership refine value propositions, prepare for executive meetings, validate pilot offers, interpret buyer needs, and develop repeatable sales and renewal pathways.
  • Provide practical insight into counter-UAS, force protection, critical infrastructure, readiness, training, test and evaluation, government acquisition, and international market requirements.
  • Identify high-value partners, strengthen market credibility, and represent Elessar at selected industry, customer, or policy engagements when requested and agreed.
  • Surface strategic, reputational, security, export-control, government-sales, conflict-of-interest, and execution risks.
  • Protect confidential information and avoid making commitments on behalf of Elessar without written authority.
  • Participate in quarterly advisory meetings and agreed working sessions; review briefing materials and come prepared with specific advice, introductions, or recommendations.
  • Coordinate external outreach with the CEO or designated executive, disclose actual or potential conflicts promptly, and recuse when appropriate.
  • Do not speak publicly for Elessar, use its name or marks, or announce the advisory relationship without authorization.
