About The Position

Leadership Board Members support the launch and operation of a local LifeWise program. The board helps complete launch steps 8–10 and provides input and direction to the Program Director as they manage day-to-day operations. Members contribute to the program’s leadership, location, logistics, fundraising and finances, and communications needs. Board membership is volunteer service, and members may not hold a paid position within the program while serving on its leadership board. The board should have three to nine members in addition to the Program Director, represent at least three churches and reflect the broader Christian community across ages, professions, genders and races. The board must cover each of the five operational areas—Leadership, Location, Logistics, Loot and Language—with a member assigned to each; members may take responsibility for more than one area.
