About The Position

Member Advocate position available for our brand new outpatient family practice located in Hamilton, NJ. This office is part of the Partnership Health family of offices in New Jersey open only to the members. We are looking for a self-disciplined, energetic, passionate full-time employee to join our professional and compassionate team of high-touch on-site Partnership Health Center Member Advocates dedicated to helping our members and their dependents deal with the intricacies of the healthcare system. Integrity Health manages health plans for public employers using our dedicated Partnership Health Center as a primary care "home-base" for their employees. This role is dedicated to helping those eligible to enjoy Partnership Health Center services deal with the bureaucratic intricacies of their healthcare plan. It is a high visibility, onsite position that requires interaction with health plan sponsors, insurance companies and covered members as well as clinical staff at the Partnership Health Center.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Robust understanding of health insurance benefits and claims processing
  • Professional communications, including writing and strong in-person relationship skills with clients and external contractors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, and Excel specifically
  • Candidate must have the ability to work independently, as well as collaborate as a team player
  • Experience in health insurance administration and claims processing
  • Ability to Relocate: Hamilton, NJ 08873: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors preferred; Or equivalent of 4+ years' experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist members with questions regarding benefits, network access, prior authorizations, and claim processing
  • Manage certain insurance carrier communications for members
  • Build and maintain relationships with client's administrative personnel to ensure client satisfaction, including but not limited to assisting with administration of wellness programs, health fairs, and health center promotional efforts
  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff as directed, including provider credentialing processes and vaccinations programs
  • Assist health plan members with questions regarding health plan coverage and processing of claims, as well as a variety of other informational and management issues of their health plan
