About The Position

This role is responsible for properly melting and transferring product (butter) to the correct holding tank, while minimizing loss through proper draining. The position requires maintaining complete and accurate records, assisting operators in packaging, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HAACP, SQF, and safety regulations is essential. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday through Friday, from 2 PM to 10 PM.

Requirements

• Able to follow directions and carry out instructions.

• Able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly melt and transfer product (butter) to the correct holding tank.
• Minimize loss by proper draining.
• Maintain complete and accurate records on product produced.
• Assist operator in packaging of finished product and other duties where needed.
• Maintain a clean working area and ensure all equipment is cleaned properly.
• Ensure all product is labeled, and code date is correct before moving to storage.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
• Attend required training, including but not limited to: GMP’s HAACP, SQF, and Safety.
