Requirements

2 Years experience in Steel Mill Maintenance
Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Knowledgeable in pipe fitting, coupling alignment, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, machine tool
Certification in Industrial Maintenance
Certification in Welding
Computer Skills
Demonstrate Leadership abilities

Responsibilities

Promote safety as our #1 value while ensuring consistency and reliability in Melt Shop operations.
Be part of the team responsible for the maintenance, reliability, improvement, and upgrades of equipment.
Work closely with the production teams and other members of the maintenance team.
Be capable of covering maintenance issues on shift and/or days as a mechanic.
Coordinate with operations, maintenance supervisor, and other departments to schedule maintenance activities.
Be willing to take the necessary training to stay up to date with the EBS software.
Be willing to work more than scheduled time, weekends, and holidays if needed.
Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
