About The Position

The American Clinical Neurophysiology Society (ACNS) is seeking a Meetings & Program Manager to work closely with the Executive Director to ensure the successful planning and implementation of the ACNS Annual Meeting & Courses, as well as various small meetings and online educational programs. This role involves implementing activities that further the association's objectives and liaising with committees to provide assistance and support. The position is based in downtown Milwaukee, WI, with a requirement of at least two days onsite in the office per week, including a mandatory all-staff-in-office day on Wednesdays. The role requires approximately two weeks of travel per year, including some evenings and weekends, and attendance at the Annual Meeting is mandatory.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a small team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize varied assignments and handle multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with online education platforms (learning management systems) and processes preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years experience in meeting planning desired.

Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of administrative timelines in consultation with the Executive Director.
  • Management and oversight of the ACNS Annual Meeting & Courses and other educational programs, including budget development and management, marketing strategy development and analysis, promotional material oversight, speaker management, registration oversight, onsite logistics management, sponsor/exhibitor management, vendor contracting and oversight, shipping and inventory of meeting materials, and preparation/distribution/tabulation of program evaluations.
  • Implementation and compliance with relevant ACCME guidelines and funder Letters of Agreement (LOAs).
  • Management and oversight of online learning activities and enduring educational materials.
  • Serve as staff liaison to assigned Committees, such as Awards, Course, and Program.
  • Perform duties as required to assist the Executive Director in implementing the Strategic Plan.
  • Other duties as assigned.
