About The Position

Johnson & Johnson MedTech, part of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is recruiting Co-ops based in Raritan (NJ) or New Brunswick (NJ) to support the MedTech Supply Chain Procurement Organization. The Procurement Co-ops will support the team in driving Performance Management across MedTech Supply Chain Procurements cross functional portfolio of projects, tracking deliverables and ensuring alignment between Global Medtech Procurement, Supply Chain, and other Global functions. The PMO office sets the strategic vision for the organization and ensures operational and strategic procurement execution is delivered.

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited university for the duration of the co-op assignment, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Completion of undergraduate freshman year is required
  • Pursuing a degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with data analytics tools and techniques
  • Technological curiosity and a proactive approach to exploring digital solutions in procurement
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment with rapidly changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while delivering results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization features
  • Must be a self-starter who works independently while contributing to team goals
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) and adhere to J&J’s Flex policy (minimum 3 days/week in office)
  • Local travel may be required; candidates must provide their own transportation
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1-B) now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Enhance the SC Procurement Project Portfolio process
  • Partner with Digital and Process Decomposition teams to support technology design, transition, change management and adoption of tools
  • Exploring and recommending innovative digital tools to enhance procurement processes and supplier collaboration
  • Support development of a PMO strategy to efficiently partner on cross functional reporting needs
  • Tracking key performance indicators and supporting functional initiatives
  • Partner on developing communication strategy
  • Lead design and development of One MTSCP SharePoint refresh
  • Partner with BU Procurement teams to apply data-driven insights to inform sourcing decisions and supplier evaluations
  • Plan Engagement forums for Global Procurement planning and leadership forums
  • Active engagement with cross sector Co-op community to drive best practices in onboarding and value generation of co-op program
