About The Position

Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport, a family-owned and operated business since 1960, is seeking Medium-Duty Tow Truck Drivers for its fleet in the greater Orlando area. The company specializes in light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty towing, heavy transport, and auto salvage. This is a career opportunity for individuals looking to enter the Towing industry. Drivers are required to provide their own tools once assigned a truck, and there is no slip seating.

Requirements

• Class A CDL License with 2 years of verifiable experience
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Must be registered in the DOT Clearinghouse
• Must be able to pass background check/drug test
• Must have a Clean Driving Record
• Possess great Customer Service/Communication Skills
• All drivers must be equipped with their own set of tools once you are assigned the truck.

Nice To Haves

• Past medium-duty towing experience or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work comfortably and safely at accident scenes in traffic.
• Cooperate well with law enforcement to complete assigned jobs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
• Operate GPS mapping effectively.
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Work in all weather conditions.
