About The Position

Glen Park Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medication Technician/Caregiver to assist residents in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). The role includes supporting residents’ basic needs, administering and managing medications in accordance with California Title 22 regulations, and helping ensure high-quality, respectful care. The Medication Technician works with physicians and other medical professionals to promote residents’ health and well-being, reduce pain, support engagement, and help residents maintain independence.

Requirements

Experience as a caregiver, including familiarity with managing 20 or more residents during an 8-hour shift.
Knowledge of medication administration and ability to comply with Title 22 regulations.
Live-Scan clearance, TB test, and CPR/AED certification are required upon job offer.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

Assist with residents’ basic needs in an RCFE setting.
Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
Administer medication in accordance with Title 22 regulations.
Order and reorder medications following physician instructions.
Monitor medication administration records and report errors.
Document care and communicate with physicians and other medical professionals.
Schedule residents’ doctor’s appointments.
Work with medical staff to reduce pain, promote engagement, and help residents stay stress-free.
Maintain a safe work environment and composure during emergencies.
