About The Position

Maria Joseph Manor at Maria Joseph Continuing Care Community, known as The Home with a Heart, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Medication Technicians (Med Techs) to join their team. Med Techs are crucial in supporting resident well-being by safely administering medications, providing hands-on care, comfort, and companionship in a respectful and nurturing environment. Training is provided for suitable candidates. The role involves administering medications per physician orders and facility policies, accurate documentation, and monitoring residents for changes. Additionally, Med Techs assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and meal assistance. They are trusted caregivers ensuring safety, dignity, and quality of life while fostering meaningful relationships with residents and families. Compassionate companionship and attentiveness are as important as clinical duties. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrate reliability, compassion, and a sincere passion for helping seniors

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a Med Tech
• Completion of a medication administration course

Responsibilities

• Administering medications according to physician orders and facility policies
