About The Position

Spring Arbor of Albemarle is looking for a Medication Assistant to support our Assisted Living residents with medication administration and daily care, under the guidance of our Resident Care Director. This role requires a passion for caring for seniors and a steady, detail-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will love building relationships with residents and being part of a team that truly makes a difference.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• 1+ year of experience with senior adults highly preferred
• Current Medication Training certification
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening
• Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy

Nice To Haves

• CNA or NA license/certification, in good standing (state-dependent)
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or as required by your state)
• Experience with computerized resident documentation systems

Responsibilities

• Approach every encounter with residents, associates, and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented way
• Assist residents with medications as allowed under State guidelines
• Help residents with daily living activities — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care
• Communicate closely with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in and help lead resident activities
• Deliver friendly, courteous service with resident satisfaction as a top priority
