Requirements

• Meet all Maryland requirements to administer medications in an assisted living setting.
• Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, and team members.
• Comfort using electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.
• A genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.
• Be reliable and available for the assigned day shift, including every other weekend and scheduled holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely provide medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
• Document medication administration clearly and correctly.
• Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
• Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
• Develop meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Bring compassion, patience, and positive energy to each shift.
