Requirements
- Current certification as a Medication Technician.
- Commitment to completing continuing education to maintain certification.
- Physical capacity to meet the demands of the role, including lifting up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach repeatedly during shifts.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively and compassionately with residents and team members.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications to residents.
- Monitoring residents for any adverse reactions to medications.
- Documenting medication administration accurately.
- Communicating with healthcare professionals and residents' families.
- Maintaining a safe and clean medication administration area.
