Requirements

• Current certification as a Medication Technician.
• Commitment to completing continuing education to maintain certification.
• Physical capacity to meet the demands of the role, including lifting up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach repeatedly during shifts.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively and compassionately with residents and team members.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications to residents.
• Monitoring residents for any adverse reactions to medications.
• Documenting medication administration accurately.
• Communicating with healthcare professionals and families regarding resident care.
• Maintaining a safe and clean medication administration area.
