About The Position

CountryHouse Residence, an Agemark Senior Living community in Granite Bay, California, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Technician. The role supports residents by assisting with medications, monitoring well-being, helping with daily living, and building positive relationships with residents, families, and team members. This is a full-time position scheduled Friday through Monday, including AM/PM split shifts. The Medication Technician must meet applicable California training and certification requirements for medication assistance in senior living and use electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.

Requirements

• Meet California’s applicable training and certification requirements for medication assistance in senior living.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
• Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Have basic computer skills to use electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.
• Have a genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.
• Be dependable and available to work Friday through Monday, including AM/PM split shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist residents with medications according to physician orders, residents’ care plans, and applicable California requirements.
• Document medication assistance accurately and clearly.
• Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
• Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Bring compassion, patience, and positive energy to each shift.
