About The Position

CountryHouse Residence in Granite Bay, California, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Technician to support residents in a senior living community. The role involves assisting residents with medications in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and applicable California requirements; maintaining accurate documentation; monitoring residents’ well-being; and supporting daily living while protecting residents’ dignity and independence. The technician also builds relationships with residents, families, and team members and contributes to a positive, supportive environment. The schedule is Friday through Monday, including AM/PM split shifts.

Requirements

• Meet California’s applicable training and certification requirements for medication assistance in senior living.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
• Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Have basic computer skills to use electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.
• Have a genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.
• Be dependable and available to work Friday through Monday, including AM/PM split shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist residents with medications according to physician orders, residents’ care plans, and applicable California requirements.
• Document medication assistance clearly and accurately.
• Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
• Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
• Develop meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Bring compassion, patience, and positive energy to each shift.
