About The Position
This role is for an overnight Medication Technician. The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with seniors, and finds fulfillment in their work. The position involves providing personal care services, assisting residents with daily activities, monitoring changes in their condition, and encouraging participation in community programs.
Requirements
- A positive attitude and love for working with people.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Medication Aide (NJ) or Technician (MD, RI, PA, VA, NY).
Responsibilities
- Provide warm and engaging personal care services, assistance, support and companionship.
- Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Look for changes in residents' day and personal care needs and work with the nurse to update their personal Resident Care Plan.
- Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
