Requirements

• Meet applicable California training requirements for staff who assist residents with medications.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
• Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Use electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.
• Have a genuine interest in helping seniors live their best lives.
• Be available to work the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist residents with medications in accordance with California regulations, physician orders, and community policies.
• Document medication assistance clearly and accurately.
• Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
• Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
• Develop meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Bring compassion, patience, and positive energy to each shift.
