About The Position
Windsor Manor Grinnell is hiring a compassionate and dependable Medication Technician (Med Tech) / Medication Aide for our part-time 2nd shift team. No Med Tech certification? That’s okay! We are willing to train the right candidate and provide paid Medication Aide/Med Tech training. If you enjoy caring for seniors and want to build experience in healthcare, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills while making a meaningful difference every day.
Requirements
- Compassionate and enjoys working with seniors
- Dependable, responsible, and patient
- Detail-oriented and able to follow procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willing to complete Medication Technician/Medication Aide training
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving, CNA, Med Tech, Medication Aide, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with medication administration according to training, regulations, and community policies
- Provide compassionate care and support to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care
- Observe residents and report changes in condition or behavior
- Maintain accurate medication records and follow established procedures
- Help provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families
- Work alongside a supportive senior living care team
