About The Position
The Terraces at Summitview in Yakima, WA, is seeking a talented Medication Technician (CNA/NAC) to join their Assisted Living team. This role actively incorporates the "Philosophy for Person-Directed Care," requiring the technician to develop awareness of residents’ interests and needs, and assist them to maximize their independence and participation by providing exemplary care. This includes assisting with basic needs, activities of daily living, and recreational activities, while helping to create a safe environment for resident care.
Requirements
- Active Washington state CNA license required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certificate required.
- Must be a certified Washington State NAC/CNA.
Nice To Haves
- Prior CNA or caregiving experience strongly preferred.
- New grads are welcome!
Responsibilities
- Develop awareness of residents’ interests and needs.
- Assist residents to maximize their independence and participation.
- Provide exemplary care to residents ranging from basic needs, to activities of daily living, to recreational activities.
- Help create a safe environment in which to provide resident care.
