As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide hands-on care and support to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You'll assist with daily living activities, promote comfort and dignity, help maintain a safe environment, and build meaningful relationships with the residents you serve. Requirements

  • Current Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to quality resident care

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Measure and record vital signs, weights, food intake, and other resident information accurately.
  • Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
  • Safely assist residents with transfers using wheelchairs, walkers, mechanical lifts, and other equipment.
  • Support restorative care and resident activities as directed.
  • Help maintain clean, organized resident rooms and common areas.
  • Communicate changes in resident condition promptly to the Charge Nurse.
  • Document resident care accurately and timely.
  • Follow all safety procedures, infection control practices, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in required training, staff meetings, and continuing education.
  • Provide compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered care while creating a positive experience for residents and their families.
