About The Position

Performs all medication safety duties for the Pharmacy. The role requires providing prescribed medications and drug information as needed to support adequate patient care in accordance with professional standards and practices, as well as hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of pharmacy with a minimum of a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Four years of experience in hospital pharmacy and demonstrated competency in safe medication delivery management. Other training or experience may be accepted with the approval of the director of pharmacy.
• Competently provide prescribed medications and drug information in accordance with professional standards and practices and hospital policies and procedures.
• Possess a current, valid license to practice pharmacy in the State of California.
• Be able to perform essential physical job requirements.
