About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medication Partner to join our team at The Crestone Senior Living in Olathe, Kansas. This part-time role involves ensuring the proper administration of medication, maintaining medication carts and records, and proactively assisting residents with activities of daily living. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, and a commitment to continuous learning and growth. This position offers a competitive starting wage of $18.00-$23.00 per hour and a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Appropriately certified per state guidelines, with certification active and in good standing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
  • Must be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
  • Health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
  • Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the proper administration of medication.
  • Maintain medication carts and proper recordkeeping.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Contribute to an inclusive and positive environment.
