About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Medication Partner to join our team at Madison located at 14001 Madison Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64145. This part-time position offers a pay range of $18.25 - $28 per hour. The Medication Partner is responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments. They are expected to be present, share their talents, and be someone others can count on. The role also involves creating an inclusive and positive environment by investing wholeheartedly in the work, team members, and community. Curiosity and engagement in personal development, growth, and training are encouraged. Key responsibilities include ensuring the proper administration of medication, maintaining medication carts, and proper recordkeeping. Additionally, the Medication Partner will proactively assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
Appropriately certified per state guidelines and certification is active and in good standing.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Professional in appearance and conduct.
Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about Residents.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

Ensure the proper administration of medication.
Maintain medication carts and proper recordkeeping.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
