About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Medication Partner for a full-time position at Hudson Grande Senior Living in Hudson, Ohio. This role is crucial in ensuring the proper administration of medication and maintaining medication carts and records. The Medication Partner is expected to be an "Advocate of Empathy," creating human connections with residents, a "Generous Gift Giver" by being present and reliable, "đź’Ż" by fostering an inclusive and positive environment, and an "Engaged Egghead" by being curious and committed to personal growth and training. The position also involves proactively assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Appropriately certified per state guidelines, with certification active and in good standing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Criminally cleared.
  • In good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
  • Good physical health verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
  • Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the proper administration of medication.
  • Maintain medication carts and proper recordkeeping.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Foster an inclusive and positive environment.
  • Engage in personal development, growth, and training within the organization.
