Medication History Pharmacy Technician, Baptist Medical Center
About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Medication History Pharmacy Technician to join their team at Baptist Medical Center Downtown and South. This is a full-time, clinical, patient-facing position within the Emergency Department. The technician will interview patients to obtain and document home medication history information, working face-to-face with patients and utilizing Telepharmacy technology in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working within an interdisciplinary team, including pharmacists, nurses, and physicians, and requires the ability to work independently. Basic knowledge of medications is necessary. All professional communications and final checks will be approved by a Pharmacist.
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Florida
- At least one year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- High School Diploma
- Registered Pharmacy Tech (RPT) with Florida Board of Pharmacy
- Driver's License
